End Of IV I

Yes it is all over ...the moment which i had been waiting for for so long now has arrived..I am free now like a free bird ....was lookin for this day so eagerly ..

It feels as if all the burden of the world which was placed on me has been removed...

Feels so great to be one with the world again no need to worry about worthless exams which have never done good to me at least until now .

Many Many things are going around my mind for the future and for the present ..and now i can think about them leisurely .......

The exams were a real roller-coaster ride ...slow in the start but once it picked up the speed did not realize when i went through the great twists and turns and the in the air for a while feeling .......but now that it has all stopped i do not want to take such a ride soon now....

Lets wait and watch what future unfolds .I have to do many things ,learn many things,watch many movies ,play many games ,prepare more dedicatedly for the future ,meet friends old and new,and what not......

So looking to have a great upcoming experience .....SO just Hope for the best

No More Stupid Labs In My Life...

Ya It is finally over.There will be no going to college for attending the labs which are good for nothing waste of a whole lot of time.These labs were so frustratin over these years that i dont want to remember them at all.All that I have done during the labs is chit chat with fellow students thats all and just think abt life how it would have been if i hadnt joined this college .But now no more worries for absolutely wastage of time.

Today was the last lab external in the college.All went as planned and went smooth and fast.I was free In just an hour of entering the Lab .

Now that its all over and only 6 exams to go for this semester to end i and just one more semester left after that before leaving the college i am starting to realize that good times are going to start soon ...just a matter of 5 to 6 more months .

Today was also our lab incharge(Kiran sir) cum class teacher cum h.o.d's B'day so our class guys had arenged for a small cake cutting ceremony.It was like a party of farewell to labs ......

Hoi Mata Ki Jai!!!!!!!!

Today was a very auspicious day .It is Hoi Ashtami when my mom keeps a fast for me ,for my long life and basically my prosperity and in the evening we gather and pray together and an elderly of the family tells the story of Hoi Mata .

It goes like this as narrated by my Massar Ji who is the eldest here .

Long Long ago there used to be a King .He had a problem that he did not have any children.So one day a Sage comes to his court and gives him a Mango and asks him to give it to his Rani and she will have a child .The King had 2 Queens so he decides to give half Mango to each Queen.After that both the queens have a son but the are also half(sideways).Then all the People in his region ask him to kill them as they might be bad omen for the king .So the king orders his servants to kill the kids.Instead of killing them the servants just leave the kids in a jungle.That Night Hoi Mata comes to the jungle and on seeing the half kids takes pity on them and joins them.The next day King comes to know of this deed .He then Prays to Hoi Mata and thanks her .

This is the story i've been hearing since my childhood .there are various versions of it and there are also some other stories like the following one with a descriptin of this festival.


Hoi Ashtami - 2nd November, 2007

This is celebrated 4 days after Karwa Chauth (see festivals section). Women with children fast for the day and pray before sunset. They make a picture of Hoi Mata (mother Hoi), on a wall in a clean place. The story of Siau mata (mother fox) is told by one of the women to everyone;

Once upon time their was a potter family. They had two brothers, whose families lived in one house. One day, the younger brother asked his wife to dig up and bring clay pots for a pre-Diwali market. While digging, she accidentally killed 7 baby foxes with her spade. Their mother came out, very angry. She laid a curse on the potter family "your family will die, because you have killed mine". The woman cried, asking the foxes forgiveness, "I will do anything you want, but please spare my family". The fox said, "you will have to give me seven of your children, as they are born, as a compensation". The woman agreed and returned home feeling very sad.

Following this incident, whenever she had a child, she took it and gave it to the mother fox. Every year on Hoi Ashtami, all other women of the house celebrated and everyone was happy, except her. One day, a sage came to their house and told her that if she prayed to Hoi mata with full devotion, she may be able to reverse the curse pt upon her by the fox. The next year, the woman fasted and prayed with complete devotion. Hoi mata was pleased. She requested the mother fox to return the woman’s children, “she has suffered enough”. Fox agreed and returned the woman’s children. Her family was complete. Once again her home was filled with the noise and laughter of children.

Women finish the story saying, “O Hoi mata, look after my children, as you looked after hers”.

After stars appear, women offers water to the stars and break their fast. In north Indian homes, the food consists of family favourite vegetarian dishes, including poories and sweet desserts.

Exams Exams Exams

Now The time has come again to get geared for the semester end exams .They are goig to start from 14th till 26th .i dont know how i will be completing all my subjects this time but this is always the scenario ..so not a thing to worry a lot .Started the preparation long back just after my III II sem were over but couldn't study as much as i had hoped maybe because of the college atmosphere and some of it in negligence .

But now its the final time that i need to prepare for the exams like in school days . After this sem the final semester of my engg life is going to start which will just pass by with project and stuff .

Anyways gotta get things going for this exams otherwise the coming times will become more difficult to handle ..

Finally Fedora 7

At last I've accomplished what i was trying for the past few weeks .....
It also got my Motherboard into trouble and after getting it repaired I have installed Fedora Core 7 and am running both Windows XP and Fedora on my PC..

Looking forward to a great learning experience now that Linux has been installed .

A few days ago went to see Happy Days movie ...abt college life and the students mindset ....was realy refreshing in the time of all exam pressure and other things which go on during the ending days of College .

Chak Diya India Ne World Cup ko...........................

And again once again India has turned the tables and proved to the world that it is not after all to be taken very lightly....in any sense .


I am so proud today to have seen such gr8 match between India And Pakistan....Simply awesome full entertainment till the last minutes............

college is going on and on just finished one of my stupid record work.Been going to college to regularly these days and it taking its toll on me ......so now is the time to bunk again.

Still in a dilemma abt what i am goin to do abt the project work.....

Anyways enjoyin life as it comes ..

So at last our country is roaring like a real Tiger who has been calm for so long ........It feels so good to watch the team playing so good and thrashing down the most boastful of the teams and showing each team their worth in the international arena ......

I think all credit goes to Dhoni ....Simply fantastic support always cool ....Just thinks the right things .....and Yuvi what should i tell abt him ......his 6 " Chakkas " oooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh every one just loved it .....hs fan following must have increased a 100 folds due to that..

For All Who missed the great strikes of Yuvraj can see it here..Enjoyyyyyyyyyy...(I get goosebumps whenever i see this video)



Any ways the whole team is playing splendidly well and no doubt abt it and the next match is going to be a real cracker all eyes will be set on it.....In India atleast it will be like a "Curfew" when the match starts ........

Just waiting for it....

In the mean while i also saw 2 other movies .........
Love and Other Disasters .....The message of love through it was really the next generation thing...
And the other movie was Living and Dying abt a bank robbery ......good time paas movie thats all i can say ....not so much of an acting involved to be praised...

And also i am completing my Subjects at a steady pace ....dont want it to stop and i continue............................
